Gyoza (dumpling)

1/5 chinese cabbage

1 bunch green onion

2 tsp garlic

1 tsp ginger

1/2 ground pork

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp Japanese soy-sauce

40 dumpling wrapper

dip(sauce) :

1/4 cup Japanese soy-sauce

1/4 cup rice vinegar

1 tsp sesame oil

1 tsp hot chili oil

chop chinese-cabbage, green onion and grind garlic and ginger, then mix everything together.

Put a generous amount of filling in the middle of a wrapper. Around 1 heaping tablespoon. Fold the skin in half, bulging in the middle and then pinch the dough together in the middle.

heat the pan and add small amount oil, then put dumplings on the pan.

add water for half of the pan and put on the lid.

turn heat off when dumpling starts sizzling and there is no more water in the pan.

serve it on the plate(turn upside down).

This is Chinese dish but also popular in Japan.
