Renkon Okara

1 Renkon (Lotus root)

1 cup Okara (bean curd)

1/2 cup Milk

5 tbsp potato starch

oil

Sauce : Japanese soy sauce, sugar, sake

slice Renkon 3mm each and boil it for a few minutes, then drain hot water

mix Okara with milk and Potato starch well

spread Renkon on the sheet

put potato starch on it

make small balls with Okara

attach small balls to each sliced Renkon

medium heat the skillet and put oil in it, then fry Renkon-Okara

fry 3-4 minutes each sides

when it is cooked, remove from the skillet and serve on the plate

Make sauce : put 1/2 cup Japanese soy sauce, 1/3 cup sugar, 2 tbsp sake into the pan and heat it

Put it on Rekon-Okara!

This is very healthy dish.


It can be your lunch or dinner.
